We are excited to announce we have three new products! We wanted to do something different, while also staying true to our core values of American made or if made outside the U.S., fair trade. As with all of our products, they had to do good for others! Our criteria was that these pieces had to be eco-friendly, as well as make a positive impact on how people shop. We partnered with fair trade artisans in India, all women, who are bettering their lives and their childrens lives by making the beautiful pieces that we are introducing into our collection. Each piece is made by women, for women.
We think 'Minimalist meets Bohemian' is the style that best describes these pieces. Our summit necklace is the perfect addition to polish off any outfit! It can be worn by itself or layered with other necklaces. This stacked pendant necklace has three chevron shaped pieces - one brilliant, golden brass chevron is etched with a floral design, over a wooden chevron on a brass chain. Purchasing this necklace does so much good! It helps women and their families have a better future but also each necklace purchased donates 10% of it's proceeds to the International Rhino Foundation. An amazing charity working to save Rhinos in the wild, by research, education, rescue, and care.
THE LUNAR NECKLACE
Beautiful + elegant, our Lunar necklace is perfect for every occasion! Just like the moon it's named after, it can shine alone or with other accessories. This long pendant necklace has two pieces - a brilliant, golden brass rounded full moon medallion etched with a floral design, connected to a wooden waning moon shape on a brass chain. 10% of its proceeds goes towards the International Elephant Foundations efforts to help elephants around the world have a sustainable future. All of our necklaces are handmade in India by artisans, providing them sustainable growth opportunities through fair trade practices. Both are made from natural wood and non-toxic metals.
A white Indian elephant is hand drawn against a grey background with batik on one side, and a contrasting and equally vibrant yellow + white pattern is on the other. Finished with a yellow pom pom trim. Batik is a traditional art of wax-resist dyeing on textiles that can be traced back to the 6th century in India. 10% of these pillows proceeds will go towards elephant conservation through the International Elephant Foundation. Not only will it look darling in your home but every time you see it, you'll be reminded of the positive impact and good you're doing in the world!
Our sustainable pillow inserts are made using infinitely recyclable fiber fill. They are made in the USA using a minimum of 95% post-consumer recycled plastic, are allergy-free and made consuming no water and less electrical power then virgin fibers.
With each purchase you will know that you are making the world a better place for Rhinos and Elephants, but also for the women who are changing their lives for the better by taking control of their situation and creating works of art. Your support allows them to care for their children and make a better life for them and their communities. What better way to give back!
